You won’t forget these names!

Strange celebrity baby names – love them or loathe them, they seem here to stay. Celebs appear to be trying to outdo each other in terms of odd, outlandish and attention-seeking baby names. Many normal folks choose to emulate the stars by naming their children the same way but while it might work in the crazy world of fame and stardom, will it be a curse for normal children that they’ll come to hate in later life? Here are some of the most bizarre celeb baby names but some of them are actually quite beautiful:

Kal-El – This one sounds like a name from Superman and we don’t know why they chose it, but it belongs to the child of Nicholas Cage and Alice Kim.

Sunday Molly – Quite a few celebs have chosen the name Sunday for their daughters and it’s a cute name if you do happen to be born on a Sunday. This pretty name belongs to the daughter of Mike Myers and Kelly Tisdale.

Blue Ivy – Like it or hate it, it’s certainly memorable for the baby of Jay Z and Beyonce.

Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence – Wow! Imagine the poor child learning to write this mouthful. Hopefully, a shortened version will suffice. This grand name belongs to the daughter of Uma Thurman.

Bear Blaze – Belonging to the child of Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll, we imagine a name like this will not belong to a wallflower! Apple – Famously given to their daughter by Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow. Perhaps they had a falling out with Android! While Peaches had been seen before, the singer and actress opened up a whole new greengrocer of opportunity for fruit-themed baby names.

Poppy Honey Rosie, Daisy Boo Pamela, Buddy Bear, Petal Blossom Rainbow and River Rocket Blue – If they drop the middle names, you wouldn’t think much was afoot, but the combos seem like the names given to a range of pre-school toys. Jamie Oliver might be a master of the kitchen but perhaps not name-giving.

Fuschia – This delightfully colourful name belongs to the daughter of Sting and Frances Tomelty.

Memphis Eve – Naming children after places has also become increasingly popular but this name seems to work well. This is the name that Bono and Ali Hewson chose to give their daughter.

Autumn, Sonnet and True – Highly unusual but lovely names given to the children of Forest Whitaker.

Audio Science – No, it’s not a course on a college timetable but the name that Shannyn Sossamon chose for her poor baby.

Rocket Zot – While you could easily get away with the fun-sounding Rocket as a boy’s name, combining it with Zot makes it sound like an insult! The Avatar actor Sam Worthington and his wife chose this odd pairing just because they liked the way it sounded.

Bluebell Madonna – Nothing about the Spice Girls was ever going to be dull and Geri Halliwell did nothing to threaten this when she named her daughter after a pretty flower and a favourite musical artist. She’s bound to have been the only person in her class at school with that name!
